The 2nd Batch of Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) Training for 2021 has completed their training on 22 August. A total of 60 participants from the coastal municipalities of Datu Blah Sinsuat, Sultan Mastura, Parang and Cotabato City endured the challenging 7-day training.WASAR trainings are being carried out by the Rapid Emergency Assistance for Disaster Incidence (READi) under the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in partnership with the Division Training School (DTS) of 6ID. It is one of the specialized trainings of READi BARMM that aims at strengthening the capacity of communities to respond to disasters.
