The Bangsamoro Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READi) under the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government is leaving no stone unturned in responding to the current public health emergency.

This time, a total of 140 teachers from Notre Dame Village National High School (NDVNHS) in Cotabato City received food assistance from the Bangsamoro READi on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

“The Bangsamoro READi remains committed to ensuring that the teachers within our homeland have the opportunity to continue educating learners despite the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, interior and local government minister and head of READi.

NDVNHS teacher Michelle Zambo said they are grateful to the Bangsamoro READi for being responsive to their request.

“To further protect the welfare of our educators especially during the pandemic, we have requested the assistance of the Bangsamoro READi in providing us food assistance. Hence, we are very thankful in behalf of the administration, staff and teaching personnel of the NDVNHS,” said Ma’am Zambo.
