The Bangsamoro government’s Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG) is set to provide emergency vehicles to priority local government units (LGUs) within the region.

BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim, Al Haj along with MILG Minister Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo personally checked the vehicles on Thursday afternoon, April 15 at the Office of the Chief Minister grounds.

“The MILG have a deployment agreement with the Bureau of Fire Protection on who among the priority LGUs will receive the emergency vehicles,” said Minister Sinarimbo.

Five fire trucks, four ambulance and five police cars will be given to the different priority LGUs in the region. This, in support to the preparedness and response program under the internal security services of the MILG.

Minister Sinarimbo said the ambulance will be given to the Bangsamoro Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READi) and the local government of Tawi-Tawi.

“We continue to strengthen our emergency response capability while attending to the immediate need for relief assistance of our constituents in the Bangsamoro,” said Minister Sinarimbo.

An additional of two coasters for transportation of the locally stranded individuals and two cadaver transport specialized for COVID-19 victims are up for delivery this month.
